Dr. Yagul Kishore Mishra

Dr. Yagul Kishore Mishra is a highly experienced cardiac surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He is the Chief of Clinical Services, Head of Cardiac Sciences, and Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon. He has performed nearly 19,500 open heart surgeries, including minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, atrial septal defect, carotid artery endarterectomy, aortic aneurysm, Bentall’s operation, and many more. Dr. Mishra has conducted around 550 robotic cardiac surgeries and 1,050 revision surgeries. His areas of expertise also include CABG, coronary angioplasty, valve repair and replacement, cardiac ablation, and more. He has published approximately 175 scientific papers and has participated in over 200 national and international conferences. Dr. Mishra has treated several international patients from countries such as the USA, UK, Iraq, UAE, Oman, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, and multiple African and Central Asian countries.

Memberships:

 Dr. Yagul Kishore Mishra is actively involved in several prominent medical organizations. He currently serves as the President of both the Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons of India and the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons of India. Additionally, he is a Council Member of the Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia and serves on the Executive Committee of the Society for Heart Failure and Transplantation. Dr. Mishra is also a member of respected international bodies, including the European Association for Cardio-thoracic Surgery, the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, and The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is the founder of the Indian College of Cardiology and holds fellowship status with the Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of India. Dr. Mishra is also a life member of the Cardiological Society of India and a fellow in Cardiovascular Surgery from the Thoracic Centre, University Hospital Uppsala, Sweden.
